If you want to experience being at an altitude above 3,000 meters without too much effort, I would recommend Top of Salzburg (3,029 m) and Top of Tyrol (3,196 m). These are two well-known high-alpine viewing platforms.

Near them, you'll also find two peaks: Kitzsteinhorn (3,203 m) and Schaufelspitze (3,332 m). The first can only be reached via a ferrata rated A, so it's not entirely safe to go there without via ferrata equipment. Schaufelspitze, on the other hand, is much more accessible — just a steep 150-meter climb from the cable car.

From the top, you get stunning views of peaks such as Stubaier Wildspitze (3,341 m), Zuckerhütl (3,507 m), and the Stubai Glacier. For climbers, I would recommend the Fernau ferrata in the area or a hike to the glacier lake Sulzenausee.

Short and fairly easy ascent from the cable car to the summit.
