An interesting but not exactly easy via ferrata of difficulty D, located below the Hanauer Hütte mountain hut, where you can refresh yourself with a beer or have something good to eat as a reward. Of course, at prices that correspond to availability.

I personally used the hut as a refuge for the night. Unfortunately, the weather was not in my favor at all and it rained almost both days. Fortunately, the rain stopped for a few hours in the morning and I was able to go on the via ferrata.

After the first few meters in the traverse, it was clear to me that the via ferrata is quite tough, slippery after the rain and there are a minimum of scrambling. If you see any scrambling while climbing, you can be sure that this is a more demanding section of the route. The way to the rope bridge was quite tiring, but nothing crazy.

The bridge itself is then quite wobbly and, above all, long. The entire length of the route you climb in a rock gorge, which at first glance does not seem like the most beautiful you have ever seen, but then again it is a place that an ordinary tourist will probably never see.

The most challenging section is definitely located a little behind the bridge. You will recognize it, how else but that a few scrambling suddenly appears in the rock. It is a short exposed overhang. I tried not to stay here too long and again I had to use the strength in my hands. Afterwards you can either leave via the escape route B/C or continue along the rock wall of the gorge by traversing. Unfortunately for me it started to drizzle a little again, so I chose the shorter option.

The views from the mountain hut are certainly great in good weather and it is also possible to meet dozens of grazing cows here. Hiking in the area will definitely be worth it.
