Ferrata park near the Gosausee. A total of 11 different routes of difficulty from A/B to F.

If you are looking for a climbing stop near the Gosausee that only takes a few hours and does not have a long ascent, I would stop here. It seems to me that this is a relatively forgotten rock compared to the surrounding ferratas. We were almost alone here, but maybe it was because it had just rained.

Everyone chooses their own here, we chose the Schmiedsteig route in difficulty C as the first route. In the lower part it is actually a long traverse. A few scrambling and the rope was loose here. Honestly, we did not climb well at all and we did not feel very safe. But this could only have been a temporary problem. Otherwise, the difficulty C was appropriate and the rock face was not very low. Nothing for beginners, at least not in the wet, as in our case.

As a relaxing climb, we chose the Moritz B/C ferrata. If we don't count the very boring beginning, it was a simple but quite fun climb with the meters gaining. It seemed to me that the TOPO didn't correspond to reality very well. At one point I couldn't determine where we actually were. It was probably new, not yet updated ropes. We climbed over a beautiful, new bridge and ladder. The final wall was definitely not a B/C difficulty, but more like C and above, but we both managed it without any major problems.

The way down then takes less than an hour and most of the time you enjoy the views of the lake under the rock. The whole thing is like one big rope playground for young and old.
