If you find yourself nearby of Innsbruck looking for an attractive, aerial ferrata with a short access route, this route is the optimal choice for you.

Personally, I was most surprised that I came across a pair of mountain goats at this very spot. They are not only found on mountain plateaus, but also next to towns, villages and motorways.

The entire via ferrata is marked as D/E in difficulty. The most challenging section can be avoided by using the escape route, which is located approximately halfway along the route and leads to a viewpoint in the rock where there is a cross. I chose this option as the end of the climb. Before turning off, however, you need to overcome the aerial C/D passage, which is more emotionally demanding than physically demanding.

The descent route is also an educational trail about the local prince, thanks to which you will also learn a little bit of history during the hour-long journey down.

Circular route with an escape route from the ferrata before the E section.
